Instead, the Packers are signing a cornerback who recently received a pink slip from a previous NFL team.Following a successful college career at Georgia State, Chandon Sullivan went undrafted in 2018. He landed with the Philadelphia Eagles immediately as a rookie free agent, however, and made the team’s practice squad out of training camp. Sullivan then earned a promotion to the Eagles’ 53-man roster, playing five games for the team before being waived and returning to the practice squad before week 17. However, the Eagles waived Sullivan on May 1st.Now, Sullivan is a Packer, according to his agents via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The Packers announced the signing shortly after the report.
