went a long way to improving the Giants’ offensive and defensive lines."After two days of polling and drafting Eli Manning Jerseys Stitched , the 2019 Big Blue Draft-A-Thon is finally over. In this year’s take on our annual community mock draft, we turned the New York Giants’ draft over to the fans, using The Draft Network’s draft simulator. Posting a poll for each of the Giants’ 12 picks (save their back-to-back picks in the fifth round, which were done with one post), the Big Blue View community voted on who they wanted the Giants to draft of the best players available. The Giants finished their draft by selecting Clemson EDGE Austin Bryant with the 245th pick. Bryant will likely begin his career as a pass rushing specialist as he recovers from a torn pectoral muscle suffered late in the 2018 season. But rushing the passer is something he does very well, posting 15 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks in each of the last two years. Bryant could wind up being a steal this late in the draft if he is able to become an every (or even most) snap player. Here are the full results:6. Ed Oliver (iDL, Houston)17. Jonah Williams (OT, Alabama)37. Drew Lock (QB, Missouri)95. Ben Powers (OG, Oklahoma)108. Khalen Saunders (iDL, Western Illinois)132. Joe Jackson (EDGE, Miami) 142. Germaine Pratt (LB, North Carolina State)143. DaMarkus Lodge (WR Youth Odell Beckham Jerseys , Auburn)171. Mike Edwards (S, Kentucky)180. Foster Moreau (TE, LSU)232. Isaiah Prince (OT, Ohio State)245. Austin Bryant (EDGE, Clemson)While the necessary rules of the draft were limiting (sticking to best player available as much as possible and only showing 10 players per poll), it does show how quickly even deep positions can dry up in the draft. After passing on an EDGE early in the draft, the Giants had to wait until the end of the fourth round for an EDGE to re-enter their value range (with some help from the moderator adjusting for a receiver and running back heavy board). Ultimately, this exercise was done for fun and to help pass the time until the actual draft gets here.So then Big Blue View, are you happy with your performance? And more importantly, did you have fun? Special teams, snapping ability might be his ticket" />Skip to main contentclockmenumore-arrownoyesHorizontal - WhiteBig Blue Viewa New York Giants communityLog
