thankful to Geneon for

The level of passion shown around here in the last 24 hours can only be because people care so much about Geneon/Pioneer and the shows they've brought us. So let the love flow. What shows are you thankful for, and why?

I'm thankful for Cardcaptor Sakura. We could have been stuck with a hollow shell of the show, but Pioneer licensed the original Japanese version of the show and brought it to us. Complete. Uncut. That was pretty ballsy for a 70episode show with no dub.

I'm thankful for Victory. It was one of the earlier shows I got into, and I loved it for showing me how beautiful anime could be.

I'm thankful for ! At a time when my anime fandom was waning, Geneon brought out this quietly beautiful, charming throwback of a show. They even got New Generation to dub it, which was going the extra mile. It revived my love of anime, reminding me of why I fell in love with it in the first place. Like CCS and BAV, this is a show I put in when I'm in need of something to pick me up.

To everyone at Geneon, thank you. I wish nothing but the best for you in the future.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. I am just now watching through this show again. It is great and I am really thankful Geneon stuck with this show all the way. I had a great time collecting it. I am also very thankful that they got the second movie and gave it the accurate dub treatment it deserved. It's only one movie, but I thought that was also worthy of praise (and had me really excited when it was announced)

I am also thankful that they released both Pretty Sammy series moncler outlet on DVD. Women Moncler They did poorly with the initial VHS release, but Geneon got them out on DVD and with some nice extras for Magical Project S too. It gave me a opportunity to check it out, and I ended up being very pleased.

I am thankful to them for many excellent dubs. The series and Hand Maid May were some of the first few that I saw and they were excellent. It is partly because of them that I have such a strong attachment to anime dub work. They have made good use of several different studios.

I'm thankful for Muyo: in Love. Not just one of my first DVD's ever, but one of the very first Anime DVD's ever released. Geneon/Pioneer certainly helped lead the way into the DVD era and were strong supporters from the start.

I'm thankful for Koi Kaze. In my opinion bringing UGG BOOTS a show which is uncompromisingly about incestual sibling love and places it in a serious, non hentai, setting was an amazingly brave move on their part. The show had it's ups and downs, and sometimes I could relate and sometimes I just wanted to wring their necks. But I tip my hats at Geneon's contribution to the list of serious shows.

I'm thankful for Card Captor Sakura. Not only because it is a CLAMP show and I love CLAMP. Not only because it is a cute Magical Girl show and I love Magical Girl shows. Not only because it's a fun, spirited, and infectious show. Not only because even with all the comedy in it, it stresses the basics like friendship, working together, and always trying your best. It's because it's all that and more. I'll never look back at buying the singles. The show always brings me back to my happy place and reminds me that there are better things to do than raise one's blood pressure.

I'm thankful for Kamichi and Ultramaniac for much the same reasons. Fun shows that are uncompromisingly fun to watch. Nothing heavy, nothing hard, just pure, clean fun.

I'm thankful for . I salute the courage it took to bring over a great show, that nonetheless could touch off some raw nerves even today. Even with shows like Letters ugg shoes sale From Iwo Jima out there, it was a gutsy move. And one where we get to see that the right decisions are not always easy, nor easy to see. And that sometimes, there is no right call, only a list of not quite so good calls.
