The starting dose for men is 5 mg to 10 mg. On the other side, the recommended starting dose for women is 5 mg. One should take Ambien immediately before bedtime once per night. Make sure you must maintain the gap of 7 to 8 hour i.e. if you want to wake up at 6 AM then you should go to bed at 10 PM.
