Feature of Railway Vertical Lathe

1. Feed System

Feed system (X axis and Z axis) is driven by Siemens AC servo motor. to achieve horizontal and vertical feed of tool post and fast movement by directly connected with the ball screw via flexible coupling.

2. Work table

The structure of whole working table is hot symmetrical, main gear shifting mechanism was fixed on the base of working table and the bed of lathe.

3. Beam

The interface of beam and column guide rail has PTFE wear-resistant guide soft belt, has a small friction coefficient, greatly extend the service life of the machine tool.

4. Vertical Tool Post

The vertical tool post is made up by the beam slide, rotary slide, ram and other parts.

Vertical tool post can make horizontal movement on the beam and ram in vertical movement. X axis and Z axis are driven by Siemens or servo motor. The electrical motor is connected with the ball screw via the one-way precision diaphragm elastic coupling directly.
