Tumbled leather adds an element of luxury to anything it touches, and this time it is gracing an iconic adidas silhouette. The adidas running shoes is getting hit with what looks to be its most supple update yet thanks to the special cloth and the results are fantastic.The adidas Stan Smith appears here with a tumbled leather build cast in black to give the shoe a truly timeless feel. The entire upper is covered in the material with the exception of a black leather heel tab and leather liner. A white outsole contrasts the look and gives it a super clean feel to finish.


We have seen a wealth of fresh editions of the adidas Originals adidas ultra boost sneaker this summer. From a luscious Rainbow Primeknit to the recent faded blues of the Rio 2016 Olympics special, all have had an emphasis on color in addition to the iconic silhouette’s form. But a new Superstar 80s made with Korean sneaker store Kasina has gone the opposite route, serving up a sleek suede pair that is all about the minimalist aesthetic.


2016 is continuing on the revived adidas adidas pure boost sale trend that began last year. The classic silhouette of the sneaker has undergone a variety of transformations throughout the year, including an “adicolor” pack, a collaboration with BEAUTY & YOUTH and a recent iteration with a “Triaxial” upper. But adidas isn’t finished yet, as the brand has just unveiled a special premium edition of the Superstar 80s for women.The ultra-luxe update uses the standard shelltoe sneaker as a base and adds a wealth of new material to the upper. It is constructed from a sliced nubuck which has been overlaid with an embossed snakeskin print. The shoe is also accented with premium leather overlays on the heel-tab and three-stripe. Its colorway is simple but clean; a smooth white with black contrasts.

What you end up getting is a sleeker and more streamlined version of the Stan Smith. Another premium feature of the shoe is the leather lining found inside. Tonal laces, copper branding, perforated hits used as Three Stripes branding and an off-White sole unit placed below complete the fairly minimalistic look of the shoe.
