At the top of the range sits the S-Lab Speed, designed for fast-paced racing when you want the lightest and grippiest. The
salomon speedcross 4 gtx damen is a modern classic and it seems that almost everyone has tried a pair on at some point in their life. Offering good cushioning and excellent grip this is many people’s “go to” shoe for UK trail running. The Speedtrak offers something slightly different to the rest of the Speed range with a slightly wider fit throughout; a very aggressive tread and a medium drop of 6mm make them a great training or racing shoe.

Our
salomon x ultra gtx herren review comes after putting them through their paces out in the wilds over the past few months in rain, hail, wind, sun and mud such has been the unsettled weather. Before we get into the nitty gritty let’s just get the obvious out of the way. The Salomon X Ultra Mid 2 GTX are a lightweight walking boot, mid height design with Gore-Tex performance comfort technology which comes in at 460 grams. Salomon have updated the appearance of the X Ultra Mid 2 GTX , and I must say they look very cool. Keeping a sense of sturdiness without being too aggressive, having an athletic look of a trainer while still looking like they’re ready for a proper walking adventure!

New for 2016, the
salomon schuhe schweiz continues Salomon’s popular line of trail shoes that are lighter and lower cut than hiking boots. We put the X Ultra 2s to the test on steep, technical terrain and came away very impressed: they are light, comfortable, and surprisingly stable. Even when wearing an overnight pack on moderate terrain, the X Ultra 2s provided all the support that we needed. You will have to decide between a non-waterproof and GTX version (we tested the former), but both are excellent options. In terms of comfort, the X Ultra 2s are absolutely excellent. They required no break-in period for us, gave no blisters, and had a medium amount of cushion underfoot. Unlike some lightweight shoes, you can’t feel every rock but they aren’t overly stiff either.
