Why need to brake in brake pad?

After replacing the brake pads, if you feel that the brakes are soft, you must step on the brakes to eliminate the gap between the brake pads and the brake disc. It takes 200 kilometers to achieve the best braking effect. Try to drive to a place with good road conditions and few cars. The running-in method of the new brake pads is to use fractional point brakes to brake as much as possible, and do not use sudden brakes before running-in well.

How do the new brake pads break in?

1. Lightly step on the brakes and brake with moderate force to reduce the vehicle speed to about 10-20 km/h. There is no need to keep an eye on the speedmeter, just keep your eyes on the road and make sure you notice the road.

2. Loosen the brake and drive for a few kilometers to cool the brake pad temperature slightly. However, do not brake until the vehicle stops, otherwise the brake pad material is integrated into the brake disc, which will cause brake vibration.

3. Repeat at least 10 braking cycles

Brake pads must choose the products of regular manufacturers. Inferior brake pads will not only affect the braking effect, but also cause damage to the brake disc.
